AC/DC Fans Follow BON SCOTT's Adventures On 'Highway To Hell'
July 4, 2009Beatrice Thomas of The West Australian reports: It might have been a highway to hell for AC/DC but tram tour operator Jon Tomkins hopes his new tour marking hometown hero and lead singer Bon Scott's early years in Fremantle will be a road to a successful tourism venture.
The "Highway to Hell" tour, which had its first trial yesterday for visiting U.S. Navy sailors, starts at the Bon Scott statue at Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour.
It takes in Scott's childhood home in Harvest Road and his schools, North Fremantle Primary and John Curtin High School.
